Truth in Labeling GMO Foods Gains Traction: Scientific Proof of RNA's Effect on Organ Function Makes a Mark!

I'd like you all to take a look at this website started to promote what's called "truth in labeling" in food for Michigan.

This campaign needs support to gain traction towards the creation of legislation.  It's an expensive, time consuming processes in which influence in politics comes into play a great deal. Not MY cup of tea; BUT a necessary hurdle to jump to get these important measures turned into law. Other states are beginning this process as with the state of Washington.  There state senator Maralyn Chase is sponsoring a bill to get truth in labeling signed into law. 

Truth in labeling means just that; we have the RIGHT to know what is in our food and where it comes from. Especially with regard to Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO's). GMO's are foods such as corn, soy, cottonseed, canola, sugar beets and recently sweet corn, that are physically injected with genetic DNA/RNA from other species that would NEVER occur in nature. They take bacteria, virus and pesticides and genetically encode THOSE into our foods too. 

This is terribly hazardous to our health and we now know for a fact that the DNA/RNA in these foods are being found in our digestive tracts and blood AFTER the foods have been eliminated. We are suffering an epidemic of allergies, digestive problems and genetic diseases such as autism and we just don't know if GMO's are to blame (at least in part).  
By becoming aware and involved of the importance of "truth in labeling" in Michigan, you are helping to ensure the safety of the food supply for you and future generations. Please join me and become a member (which is free) of the Michigan Truth in Labeling Campaign.  Your not obligated to do ANYTHING you don't want to do.  We need support in any capacity and if this means simply your name on a petition than that is just wonderful.  
There was a recent article written in Discover Magazine regarding genetic RNA and how it affects our organs. They gave examples of the effects on liver function and cholesterol levels. Please check this out and share with your friends and family.  If RICE is affecting the Chinese population; then CORN is certainly affecting ours. 
This is a special request from me to PLEASE share this article with family and friends. Right now we are in the process of scientifically proving that the UNNATURAL genetic variations of GMO food are affecting our bodies in negative ways. Natural Health Practitioners have been saying this for years. Now is the time to begin the push as legislation must be created to remove these foods from our food supply.  Europe and Japan are fervently against buying GMO foods; how will this effect our export ability?? This hurts our health, our country and our GDP.  

Below are some of the important observations we have to date on the effects of GMO foods on laboratory rats. We must demand that the "precautionary principle" be applied with regard to something as important as our food supply. Especially with the poor state of health of this country. 

  • Spontaneous abortions and unhealthy offspring
  • Reduced fertility
  • Abnormalities-damage to the kidneys
  • Impairment of the immune system
  • Shrinkage of brain, liver and testicles
  • Precancerous growth in the intestines and stomach
  • Stomach lesions and or liver toxicity
  • 7 out of 40 rats died within 2 weeks in one particular GMO study
