What You Need To Know About The Dangers Of Fluoride
By Desiree Winans on Wednesday, February 6, 2013
This post is in response to inquires about fluoride, fluorosis (white marks on the teeth from fluoride), & how to get it OUT of the body.
First of all, you might be asking, "What's wrong with fluoride?"
These are the ailments, illnesses & diseases that I know from research are contributed to by fluoride.
- Lowered IQ
- Hyperactive Behavoir
- Infertility
- Thyroid Dysfunction
- Bone Growths
- Fractures
- Osteosarcoma
- Decreased Immunity
- Neuorological Problems
There are many more than that, but that's off the top of my head.
In this post I include links to resources where YOU can be the judge on fluoride, including a PDF for a paper by Elise Bassin, links with Dr. Phyliss Mullinex's work on fluoride & more.
This is the latest news on fluoride & it's not good- turns out there's an
"inverse association between high fluoride exposure & children's intelligence ... The results suggest that fluoride may be a developmental neurotoxicant that affects brain development"
Here's the link to this information. THIS IS NOT NEW INFO. It's just a different collaboration, putting together already existing info on fluoride. More studies must & will be done. I'm not a "wait & see" kind of person. I'd rather air on the side of caution rather than ingest something for 80 years to later find out it lowered my IQ, contributed to cancer or a fractured hip. Fluoride has been shown to increase the chances of all three aforementioned problems.
A few studies that I'd like you to have: At this link is a PDF of Elise Bassins paper written at Harvard, regarding the connection between osteosarcoma's in young boys & fluoridated water supplies. There is an increased chance of bone cancer in young boys in high fluoridated water areas. See fluoride action network.com for their info on her paper.
I'd also look at Dr. Phyllis Mullinex formerly of the Forsyth Dental Center. She did a HUGE study on lab rats & concluded that mice exhibited, "bizarre" behavior when given fluoride. They had decreased fertility, smaller infants with smaller brains who demonstrated "retarded" behavior. If you search for her name on FAN there are many articles.
Having said that, fluorosis is not just a cosmetic problem. Mild dental fluorosis is a sign that the body is contending with too much fluoride & is affecting the bones & teeth. 99% of dentist MUST tell you this. They can have their licenses taken away if they speak against fluoride. I've only had 1 dentist ever tell me that fluoride was toxic & I've asked many!
The beautiful thing is that the body is made to heal.
It CAN get rid of fluoride naturally with assistance. Follow my Naturopathic Protocol for Dental health. With this protocol (& especially with the Calc Fluor 6X), their little bodies will shed toxic fluoride from the cell receptor sites & replace it with healthy minerals like fluorine, calcium & more. My suggestions are all herbal & pretty inexpensive with the exception of fermented cod liver oil.
Please let me know if you need further assistance. I love working with children & I've had the honor of working with around 10 kids in the last year. I do discounted services for them including nutritional consultations, craniosacral therapy & muscle response testing for allergies & allergy corrections.
These are the links needed to research removing most of fluoride from your home drinking/cooking/showering/gardening water. An entire house system of reverse osmosis is very expensive but at the very lease, get a system that does your cooking & drinking water. The next priority would be showering & bathing water.
- Watershed in Lansing owned the brother of a gal on Crunchy Mama's.
- Water Express- they REALLY know their stuff. Owned & operated by a chemist, very knowledgeable. I have second hand experience through a colleague.
- Free Water Express AKA "Apec", Another colleague recommended them highly. Both of these colleagues REALLY know what they are doing- great researchers!
- Kinectico: This is the company my director of education recommends. They are TOP-NOTCH if she picked them. I know they are said to be very pricy also but worth looking into for your needs & budget.
I hope this helps!
