Cha-Cha-Cha Chia & Chlorophyll: Why You Need Em'!

Chia seed all by itself is fantastic! It was used for centuries by native American and Aztec civilizations. It was used to give them sustained energy for battle or on long hunting excursions. Chia is the Mayan word for "strength".

It's power packed in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, amino acids, healthy fats fiber (both soluble and insoluble), phytochemicals and more. It's higher in essential fatty acids per ounce than salmon and is one of the the highest protein by weight plant sources as well. In nutshell- it's a SUPER FOOD! Chia is inexpensive, you can buy a pound for a couple of dollars in bulk at most health food stores- Here's Better Health Stores Link regarding Chia Seeds.

Gallbladder Cleanse; Avoid Surgery & Improve Health!

This one isn't for the faint of heart.  I'll bullet point the directions for you first;  then elaborate on some second hand experience.  I haven't done this one YET myself.  But I do believe that next month is the month! woo-hoo!

  • Begin taking the herb Hydrangea 5 days to 2 weeks prior to a full moon; Take between 12 and 18 per day. Hydrangea acts as a natural solvent to stones.  The moon's "pull" will help facilitate a better cleanse.
  • Fast for 2 days on Organic Apple Juice (preferably freshly juiced organic apple juice) It may be diluted with water too.  If you buy apple juice make sure to get a high quality organic brand form a health food store. 
  • At the end of the 2nd night before bed, quickly drink down a 1/2 cup of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil mixed with a 1/2 cup Fresh Organic Lemon Juice. 
  • Lay down to bed on your right side.  Arrange the multiple pillows to help you stay comfortable there.
  • You'll likely wake up in the middle of the night and pass the stones as you would stool, or early the next morning.

My First, My Last, My Everything

Ok, so this is my very first ever blog post.  whew- feels good!  I think this morning I'll talk about what's at the forefront of my mind.  Breakfast.  They say that Wheaties™ are the breakfast of champions. Or maybe it's bacon and eggs?  

From what I'm learning at school and in my own adventures in eating, it's neither.  The true breakfast of champions is a bit on the boring side, maybe even a bit further to the granola side.  And no it's not granola either. 

It's juice.  100% freshly squeezed vegetable juice with a small amount of fruit.  If you don't have a juicer but you've thought about the investment even once,  put down your half-cafe soy latte and go get one!  It really doesn't matter the brand at first,  I got mine at Costco about 5 years ago and she's still juicin' strong.

Juice IS the breakfast of champions for 3 main reasons.
